I know comparitevly to other car issues this is minor, however is it really annyoying hearing these noises every 30 sec. (I'm not even going to complain about the whistling noise the engine makes when you start to accelerate) ill update with results...

I think I might have the same problems on my 2010. Does your sound like metal to metal tapping on each other?

Bumping an old thread.......this issue has started in my 2011 TSX Wagon.....I can stop the noise by grabbing what feels like an electrical distribution box under the seat but jamming foam in there doesn't help. If I whack the seat back I can feel the vibration inside the portion of the track that's bolted to the bottom of the passenger seat.....horrible.

I still have the 09 tsx. Only have 40k on it becausei have a company car for work. But my fix all these years is similar to the above remedies and has embarrassingly been a rolled up pair of tube socks in between the seat and console. Lol

Yeah...I read your old quote about that and the method works for me as well Slight dampening is all you need to stop the vibration. The last time I was at the dealer (about a month ago) they had to replace the entire sun roof assembly under warranty so they were in no mood to look for rattles...I think the next time I'm in there for an oil change I'm gonna hit them up again....it's a bit disconcerting to have paid what we did for this vehicle and have it sound like a loose collection of nuts and bolts under normal driving conditions.....I've had many "quality of life" warranty issues with this car.....it's my fourth Honda product and a gigantic disappointment compared to the last 3 vehicles.

I had some time to investigate the problem today.....I believe the rattle is originating somewhere in the left "wing" of the passenger seat and traveling down the frame.....I removed the seat back and peeled the leather off the left side of the seat...when I do so, the seat suddenly becomes quiet and I can no longer reproduce the rattle by gently striking the side of the seat.....now to find the culprit but that'll have to happen on a day below 100F.

Update.....seat rattle mysteriously disappeared after driving months on pothole filled northeast roads....whatever it was shook itself loose. If you can't find the problem in your seat drive up here and spend some time

Bump again. I just picked up a 2011 Tech and am also hearing a rattle. At first I thought it might be the console, but I noticed I don't hear it when the wife is sitting the in passenger seat. What is the recommended way to test to see if it is the seat track? If I can validate that I might see if I can get it replaced under warranty...and skip the whole tube sock repair.
