Delayed Acceleration Pickup?
Delayed Acceleration Pickup?
So in my never ending quest to understand and learn about my TSX, I've noticed that whenever I try to floor it when entering ramp to highway, there's a very strong noticeable delay in the acceleration.
As in, I floor it, the rpm feels really slow to jump up? Then after a brief delay, I get the pull and lurch forward. Is this normal? This is probably one of the biggest things that bother me when it comes to this car.
So my question is, is this normal? or is something wrong in the intake to exhaust cycle?

It's a 5AT with S so I can downshift and catch the boost, but I'm just wondering if it's an actual issue with my TSX or are all TSX's slow on the pickup.
It is a pretty common thing for most new cars with drive by wire throttles and factory tunes. There's a simple fix, and we have it available for $299.99 shipped
It's called Sprint Booster, and it eliminates throttle delays, and increases throttle response.
