Rattle on the passenger side corner

Hi guys, its another one of the annoying things about the car.
It happens Everytime i hit a little bump on the road when its over 30mph. it sounds like there is a loose particle in between the AC vent and the small speaker next to the mirror on the passenger side. It is worth it to ask the dealer to take it apart the dash to look for the problem? I never been to a Acura dealer since i bought the car from a private party. and i dont even know how much they gonna charge me. I dont want to spend money and having them telling me that its normal.

I had a similar rattle but it turned out to be the little shelf inside the glove compartment. I found it by sitting in the passenger seat and tapping the dash and door with the heel of my hand until I replicated the noise. Then I put pressure on various parts of the dash while I tapped until I found a place that stopped the rattle - and tracked it down from there. You can also have a friend drive your car while you ride on the passenger side and listen for the rattle with your ear near the area in question.

You're better off tracking it down first yourself, if you can, and then go to the dealer if and when you can't fix it on your own.

My shelf also has a rattle. It seems to come from the top left side so I wedged a micro fiber towel in there and it helped a little.

I had the exact same issue, but was rattling when I had any heavy bass when listening to music. I brought it to the dealership and they too said it was the glove compartment causing the issue. They said they fixed it, but I'm gonna have to test that in the next couple days.

Just noticed this rattle about a week ago. Tracked it down to the glove box, but it appears to be intermittent.

The module on top of the homelink was pretty loose so i put some padding in between it and the housing. It did helped a little. althought i still hear something is loose inside when i go over bigger potholes. Its not as bad is before. I guess i just have to live with it.

you can easily remove the whole assembly for inspection outside the car, and pad it where needed with foam or friction tape.

I had a mysterious rattle. It turned out to be my sunglasses in the holder overhead which is not padded like it should be.

Just found out a little bit more info regarding this problem. If you drive with the sunglasses holder open, the noise goes away. All the tightening and padding did not solve the problem.
