Problem with Lock/unlock remote

does anyone have any problem with the range of remote? it was working from pretty far away when i got the car and recently, got pretty bad. I changed the battery but it didnt help.

this morning i wasnt able to unlock until i got to about 15ft of the vehicle. used be 150ft easily.

this is the same for both Key 1&2 so im thinking its not the key issue and car issue? like where it recieves the signal??

no idea but please help if anyone has some ideas...

put the fob under your chin and open your mouth. your skull and teeth will act as an antennae and increase your range.

The regular remote that comes with the car sucks (although it's a lot better than the 1st gen key fob). I got the remote starter thrown in when I bought the car and the range is amazing! At work, about 10 min before I head home, I start my car which is about 100 meters away through leaded walls! The transmitter also lets me know if/when my car alarm goes off.

Mine is very random, sometimes it works far away. And sometimes I have trouble with it at 15 feet. Going in to service on Thursday going ask about. Also my blown speakers, rattling noise in back and weird sound from driver door when I lock the doors.

Speaks the truth.

PyroDave said the same thing and I thought he was pulling bullshit out of his ass but he's right...somehow sticking it under your chin increases the range.

+1 on the skull amplifier.

Or you can use the mullions around commercial windows, they work too.

mrstak told me rubbing ur nipples while pressing unlock also works because the nipples act as an antennae and making them erect increases the range and focuses the signal

is this true?
