Please help me to identify my leather seat issue
Please see photos attached. I do not know what happen to my leather seat on driver side. It looks like color is loosing or fade out. It 100% not dirt. I try to use leather cleaner and protector to clean it, but no help. My car is 09 with taupe leather. If it is color loosing, do you think dealer will honor for warranty to replace whole seat or leather for me? Thanks.

What cleaners did you use on it? Sometimes when using harsh chemicals and rubbing too hard will remove color in the seats. Or it can just be your clothes.
This is my reason in staying away from light color leather, because they always become stained. No matter what you do they will always show a lot more defects. I had gray color leather before and after couple years later, parts of the driver side turned blue because of my jeans.
Thats why I got black interior with my TSX.
I don't know if this falls under warranty, bring it in and ask.

^ Can I get an A-men?
Also look at Lexol, there's a cleaner and conditioner (orange bottle and brown bottle) it is expensive, and it stinks by itself, but once it soaks into the leather, it gives off a nice natural leather smell.
IIRC, it's the same ph as the leather.
I had a GSR leather seat that had been rained on, was tight as a drum, hard, but not cracked. I soaked it in Lexol over a weekend, and it came back soft as glove leather. I couldn't believe it.

2009 TSX Parchment Discoloration
and, I have worn the same types of clothing,e.g. jeans, belts and jackets. So, the way I see it, I won't be buying another Parchment leather interior but I am pissed at Acura for not advising me of what to expect from their interior. That's all I have to say.

Parchment, con't.
Sorry, but the first part of my post did not travel. What I said is that I have had no help from the local dealers in Seattle, Bellevue and Lynnwood. They say it is just normal wear and tear on by 2009 TSX and too bad. I previously had Honda Accords (2001, 2003, 2007 and 2008), all U.S. models with the same interior, and had no problems.
