New here so bear with me.

I am trying to replace my lock actuator on my 2010 TSX. I have the door panel off but cannot figure out how to get to outer handle rod connection to pull the old actuator out. Does the metal panel come off that would expose the inner door cavity? Trying to save a few bucks since the dealer wanted $300 to fix it.

I use this manual when working on my tsx. It's for the 08-10 Honda Accord but it's mostly the same. It has detailed instructions on removing and reassembling door components. Specifically in the body section starting on Page 1543.
