Konishi Bond

Any Acura techs? I have the new windshield side trim, and the instructions say to use Konishi Bond to mount the tabs. Is that just a Japanese term for super glue? I will go to the dealer to ask, but was hoping to get an answer here first.

I googled Konishi bond and on the official website, it has uses of application;

APPLICATIONS :
It can be used for bonding various materials. Polycarbonate, metals, & rigid plastics such as ABS resin.
For adhesion that requires initial bond strength
Adhesion of different hard materials with different thermal expansion cofficient
Adhesion of parts that are subjected to shock and vibration

so, you're looking for a glue that can bond metals, polycarbonate and ABS plastic that can withstand repeated shock and vibration...
I would just buy the tube of Konishi bond

I googled it too, and the first things that came up were wood glue, and craft glue. Wasn't going there..

Yeah, whatever you choose to buy, it needs to bond between different materials (metal and plastic) and survive high shock and vibrations

I had the exact same question for the strips on my 2010 TSX. I am an engineer and was curious so investigated retry deeply. The closest I found is 3M 4000UV Marine sealant. You could also use 3M 4200 Fast Cure.
