hub bearing

Hey guys. I had bad road noise since u bought the car last wk and did some reserch and most ppl say it could be oem tires. I took it to the tire shops and let them take a look it and test drivd and they say front hub bearing need to be replace.. Has anyone have this problem? Ima have to take it to the dealership Sincd this noise is annoying me. Its way louder theb my friendz old old neon and car ifself shouldnt make this loud road noise.. I love the car so far but road noise is starting bugging me..

is this a brand new car? did you buy it used? how many miles? are you still under warrranty?

2009 and 36k miles on it and its certified so 5yrs 62 bumper to bumper and 7ys/100k power train...

Looks like its still under warranty. Just take it to an Acura dealer and you should be taken care off. Just make sure you are not paying something out of your pocket as from what you said your car is still eligible for bumper-to-bumper.

Thankss.. Went to dealership and it still cover for another 27ks miles but they didnt have the part so had to order and cant fix till monday . suppose to travel thiz wknd and this sux

i would be careful about driving on bad bearings. ever see those cars on the highway missing their wheels and hub? yeah, that's what happens when your bearings fail completely.

take a loaner. if i remember correctly there is no mileage limit, so go ahead and do your roadtrip on that =). so just tell them to take your car, you don't feel safe driving on it like that, and call you when its fixed.

Thanks guy. Parts came in this morning and they replace both wheel.bearing for front and noise is gone :-).
