How many mileage you get on a full tank?
How many mileage you get on a full tank?
I'm getting about 250 miles on a full tank, idk why I don't speed or what not and think this doesn't sound right. Does anyone think something is wrong with my car or it's just me?
How long is your daily commute?
Is your commute highway (45+mph) or city (less than 45mph)?
How often are you into the vtech? Above 4k RPM.
What type of fuel are you using?
What mods have you done to your car?
The list of questions can go on, but that's a good starting point. My wife's stock CU2 is getting 225-250miles to the HALF tank. I'd say you're not seeing accurate mileage.

I also wanted to ask this questions to our members as well..
I have v6 2010 TSX, I drove about 45miles daily(approximately 40miles of freeway, 5miles of local)
My TSX usually runs around 350-380miles total.. but when I drove longer distance on freeway it runs little over 400 miles..
and when I just divide the number of distance I drove by amount of gallons that I filled, I get 21-24 MPG..usually 22.5 MPG

Looks like your mileage is off from normal???
Can't comment on how you drive, but getting just 250 miles on a tank of gas seems way low.
Best to equate things to MPG. I've used Fuelly (http://www.fuelly.com) to keep track of my mileage since I bought my 2009 6MT.
My average MPG is 26.1 since I started 2 years ago. I easily get 400+ miles between fills. This is over 55 fuel ups. Driving is 50/50 highway/city (best I can tell... never sure how to measure this one?). Interesting thing about Fuelly is you can also see an aggregate of all TSXs by year (http://www.fuelly.com/car/acura/tsx). Looks like 26 MPG is the average of all 2009 and 2010 tracked. Not a huge sampling recorded, but gives you an idea what you should be getting.
I'd say record your actual data over a couple of fill ups (don't rely on the MID info). Also capture the avg speed off the MID (not sure how accurate it is, but its another barometer data point) and see what mileage you are getting.

I usually get 450 miles per tank, I drive 30 miles one way to work, about 1-2 miles to the highway then all highway. I also drive mostly mixed. I've gotten up to 550 miles on straight highway trips (75-80mph, cruise control). I always use premium as well.
I drive under 45mph since I live in Hawaii and the max speed limit is 50mph here and I drive about 20 miles a day to school and back. My car is drop with eibach and I have 19' HFP rims. Is it possible to have the dealer check it out? I've been keeping track of my fill up for about 6 months now and using the mileage app on my phone and it shows average fuel is 17.55mpg with 253.5 miles per full tank and I'm using the 92 gas the whole time.
dman from what everyone mileage are getting I have to say there is something wrong with my car I mean I only drive 20 miles a day but have to refill my tank every week something is for sure wrong. Does anyone know what I should look for that might be causing the problem?
Try this: ethanol fuel in Hawaii <-- click, not sure why a-zine doesn't underline links.
And, the air is mostly warm and moist in Hawaii, no? That would probably affect gas mileage adversely as well. In addition, your drive is a short commute.
In summary, I wouldn't worry. Your geographical location has a lot to do with it. I have a short commute and I get less than 20 mpg. But on occasions when I go on road trips, it's gone back up to 33 mpg. So, maybe go on a road trip if you can, and see if it improves.

I dont measure my fuel economy by how many miles I get with a tank. When I am just commuting to work/running errends, I get about 24mpg in this mixed driving...but when I hit the road, it's easily 30+mpg...just came back from a 300 mile trip, and got about 32mpg per the trip computer...sometimes that runs about 1mpg high, but I'm sure I ended up at at least 30mpg...

+ turtle approach or jack rabbit?
+ the RPM stays stable or pumping up and down over 3K mark?
+ sit-and-go traffic or smooth ride?
Try a long high-way trip and see if any improve.
Are you fueling with premium fuel or regular. Is your oil 5W20 or 0W20? Driving Conditions, Weather, Average Speed all effect your mileage - but at 250miles you are getting half what the manufacturer suggests.
I get roughly 850km (530miles) to 900km (550miles) per tank. This is after the idiot light, and basically going to bare bones. The empty light usually will come on with 10L (2.7 gal) left so I know I usually have 138km (86miles) to go.
I drive 80km (50 miles) one way, at an average speed of 75 mph.
I have not had any winter miles yet, so we will see how much it dips.
Anyone with a 09-10 using 0W20 with their cars to get the added mileage?

i think it has to do with the way you drive....if im doing mainly highway, ive gone as high as 42mpg average for over 30 miles. and thats in LA with decent ammounts of traffic. ive never gone below 28 mpg average. and thats even with occasional fun driving. since ive had the car, ive never gotten less than 500 miles off of one tank. i think its definitely your car....get it checked...i cant think of any other reason. even geological location shouldnt make such a huge dfference....are u using 91 or higher octane gas? shell or chevron only i recomend.
I have a 2010 v6 tech TSX. After driving 90% highway and 10% city I get close to 800km (500miles) when the fuel warning light comes on. When cruising on a highway at 110km/h (~70mph), the computer show 6 bars on a level road (6L/100km or close to 40mpg). Any other V6 owners get similar results?
When driven 50/50, I get about 9L/100km or 26mpg.

reading this makes me feel like something is wrong with my car i cant get more than 26.4mpg and im on a trip right not from connecticut to toronto canada which is 500 miles :/ and i was steady at 75mph the numbers im seeing you guys get are blowing my mind
you just gotta ease off the gas after you get enough momentum in the car.
no disrespect but i know how to drive my previous tsx i was getting 31mpg hwy and now i cant get over 26 i do cruise control keep the revs under 3k and the best i can get is 26 anyone else with some feed back
