Hole in plastic that covers instruments, 2G TSX

On the right side, in about the middle of the plastic that covers the tach and speedometer in my 2014 Sedan SE is a hole maybe 3/8". I have had the car maybe six weeks and just noticed this. What is it and what should be covering it, please?

Pics? Could be where the knob to adjust the dashboard brightness was??

On my '14 that knob is off to the right by the fuel gauge. There's nothing in the center.

Maybe the PO drilled a hole to vacuum out a bug that got in there and died?
