Help with Oil change

I keep checking my dipstick after an oil change and it seems to be overfilled (its past the second marker) how much oil are you guys putting on yours? I put 5 quarts.

it seems to be overfilled because it is over filled.

4.2 quarts. Not 5.

you should always pour in the least amount.... 4.2 quarts and then start her up and drive her around the block.

then, check the dip stick and add accordingly.
