I was backing out and so was another car and both of our cars hit each other in the back. Nothing too bad but I have scratches and a little dent above the Special Edition badge. The cars black so how much would it be to repair the back of the car? It would definitely need to be repainted but before I take it to a shop, I was wondering how much it would normally cost to get this done.

 

Just to fix and repaint I would figure 5-700. Post pics to get a better idea.

My bumper estimate to sand/repaint(no dents) was $460.

The cost of repainting my rear door was $350 (no dents).

These were two different shops. The price will vary though depending on the quality of work you want, and where you are located.
