God awful noise

09- started hearing this noise. Almost like putting something into a metal fan while it's rotating. Only between 2-3rpms accelerating. Heat shield? Transmission?

Brake heat shield. Axle issue. You'll have to check under your car

yes, you need to inspect the car to find the exact cause.
we cannot inspect the car from the internet, thus we dont know what it might be.

check wheels and check any thing that rotates.

How about valve train? My valve train is noisy on a cold engine around those RPMs.
