When the car is on, does anyone notice a staccato "putt putt" sound from the exhaust? It sounds like a modified Borla exhaust hum or a hole in the exhaust system.

I'm going to hit the dealership and have them start up a few '09s and see if I hear the same sound.

 

To be honest, I haven't noticed anything.

Just making sure, you hear the noise standing outside at the back of the car?

 

I've noticed the sound of the exhaust... it's unique. I've never really heard another car that sound the way the 09 TSX does. I like it though.

 

I have noticed..possibly tuned that way, to sound unique.

Yes I'm at the back of the car.... the video sounds are from a revved engine or in motion. I'm talking about when car is idle....

Perhaps it is a unique tune, which would be really cool. I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with my TSX. I'll stop by the dealership this weekend...

I have noticed this one mine as well, so I don't think it is a problem.

 

I'll add my name to the 'putt putt' so I think its the normal sound, not the most sexy growl but oh well, the sound coming out of MY OWN exhaust ain't the sexiest thing either from what my g/f tells me (and guess what, the fumes coming out of both can also kill you!)
