Engine surge problem with 2013 TSX

Hi,
I have a very odd problem with my "new" used car. I bought the car last September. after a few months a strange thing happened. I pulled up to a stop light and when I took my foot off of the gas and put it on the brake - the car lurched forward I had to hold the break to keep it from running the light -- quickly put the car in neutral and the RPMs raced in the 5 rpm range. I cut the car off. waited a few seconds and restarted the car and drove off. it seemed fine. Then a few weeks later it happened again. I took it to the dealer and there are no error codes. and nothing they can do. Well, it has continued to happen -- it is very infrequent so hard to replicate. It has been to the dealer three times. Last time for two weeks. supposedly they contacted Acura HQ and escalated the problem. On one of the visits they found out there was a software upgrade for the transmission. They did that upgrade and it ran fine for several weeks and then the same problem happened again. The things I have been able to ascertain. It always seems to happen when the car is warmed up/running for awhile. Around town driving. only when I come up to a stop sign/light. I take my foot off of the gas and once I hit the brake -- it takes off. then the transmission seems to disengage from the engine (not sure if this happens before I put in neutral -- since I have to drive with acute attention). the engine is racing RPMs. And then I turn the car off and restart. Dealer swears they have never seen this before. blah blah. So does anyone have any ideas???? thanks

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check all your vacuum hoses and the air intake for cracks.

Get a dashcam, and point it at the instrument cluster and your feet?

I hate intermittent problems.
