Driver side door courtesy light does the opposite of what it’s supposed to

Hey guys, so I bought a 2010 tsx and have been trynna fix as many issues that it came with as possible. I recently replaced all the interior lighting to LEDs but when I replaced the driver door light it stumped me.
Whenever i have the door closed the light stays on, and whenever I open the door it turns off. It can’t be the door sensor as it’s only the light that is acting weird the “door open” light on the dash is acting completely normal.

I was wondering if anyone had a potential fix for this before i go ahead and assume it is a wiring issue. Thanks in advance.
