I have a 2003 tl s type key fab will unlock the car but will not lock the car. the panic button dose not work. the dome light stays on as well as the door light and door ajar light in the dash. drivers door is the only one affected.door switch is good switched with passenger door and it worked took the car to a local shop they said it was the anti theft mod. what would that be.

Seems like a wiring issue if switching the door switches didn't fix it.

so there's an aftermarket alarm in the car? I'd check there first.
