Folks,

this is the second time I have that problem.
Used to be that way: I stop, turn it off, take out the key and the dashboard immediately lights up.
Now it has changed to: I stop, turn it off, take out the key and dashboard doesn't light up.
If I open the door, the light on the door lights up but the dashboard doesn't. I stay out of the car, repeat the same open-close exercise couple of times and on the third or fourth time, finally the dashboard lights up. Which means it is not a bulb problem.
Have you ever experienced something like that? What should I check?

Many Honda and Acura models have been plagued by key switch faults. New key switch may be necessary. See attached procedure.

Since problem is intermittent, it may be difficult to confirm bad ignition switch.
