cruise control creep
cruise control creep
I've got a 2011 non-tech wagon. I've noticed something strange with the cruise control. Say I'm cruising at 70, then step on the gas to speed up 75 or 80 to pass someone, then let off the gas. The car should coast down to 70 and then the cruise should maintain the speed at 70. But it doesn't. It only coasts down to about 72, and then holds the speed there. At no point during this sequence have I hit the brakes or touched any of the cruise control buttons. It's like the act of stepping on the gas while using CC is increasing the CC speed.
Anyone else notice this? Ever have the dealer look into it? I'll bring it up the next time I'm in (which isn't scheduled to be for awhile), but can't see taking it in just for this, as it's not worth the hassle with the car seat and what not.
Curious if anyone else has experienced this or gotten a resolution on it.
Thanks.

take a look at the second page here, we are actually currently discussing cruise control here. but it should decrease all the way down to your CC speed after you accelerate to pass. https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-2009-2014-143/holy-gas-mileage-batman-effects-trafficon-gas-mileage-852382/
