Cracked Fog Lens
Hey, so in the beginning of Sept I bought my 2010 tsx v6 from a Honda dealership. During negotiating the price I noticed a cracked fog lens and used it as a bargaining tool, they met my price quote but said they won't fix the fog lens. Upon leaving the dealership, I noticed the other fog had a hairline crack across the lens. I told the salesman and he told me "you already got a crazy deal with the car, we aren't going to fix the lens" I read around here that some Acura dealers would fix the lens under the warranty,as it is a fairly common issue. I messaged a buddy who worked at an acura as a tech and he told me, he has replaced a few lens before because of cracking. I gave the dealer a call and he told me, he has never heard of this issue before and it should be covered under insurance with a deductible ,as I would if I had a cracked windshield. Recently, at a car meet I showed another guy the lens and he told me I should print out every post about someone with a cracked lens and bring it to a dealer and see if they would fix it for me. What are you opinions on this? Any other options on fixing the lens?

Though I've never tried it, I don't think printing out posts from the internet would help. You would have better luck if you went to the dealership with someone who had their fog light fixed for free.
I would call Acura about it. Otherwise the car insurance route is a good idea. How much do the fog lights cost anyway?

If you used the lenses as a bargaining tool and got the price you wanted, you should have no expectation of them to fix it.
You can absolutely claim it on your insurance, but you probably shouldn't mention you bought the car that way.
Or just use the money you saved to fix the lenses, you can have any glass shop put lexan in it, or make them into brake cooling ducts.

You can get replacements on ebay for pretty cheap...
Then put xpel or laminx on to protect them from breakage.
