Changing front fender panals

Is this hard to do? Both left and right panels are rusting around the wheel well, so i seen some pre painted pieces on ebay which were pretty expensive so was wondering if i can remove and install these myself?

Also what is the cheapest place to find front modulo bumper? thanks

the front modulo bumper can be acquired through places like acurapartsforless.com or other oem part websites. Some of the colors are no longer on stock (Grigio metallic). If you really want the bumper its best to get it now before more colors are discontinued.

Please provide more detail on what panel you are referring to. Can you post some pictures? if you mean the entire front fender/body panel then yes it will be costly as it has be prepped/painted.

If you mean the liner inside the fender that is made of plastic and can be replaced pretty easily.

just a quick search shows that the oem replacement fenders are over 200$ unpainted. the oem equivalent replacement on rockauto.com is about 90$ and still must be painted.

unless you can find a pair that are already painted that silver color you are looking at body shop paint/prep costs.

Another option is to see if there are any fenders from salvage yards in your area that match the color.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market <---for used/salvage yard search

It's not hard, just time consuming. When installing it, don't tighten all the main bolts down until you are happy with alignment, alignment of the fender to hood will need adjustment. Measure your current hood with fender gap. That measurement will help you realign it, also note measurement of door gap with fender.

Hi, I am also planning to replace my passenger side fender. I am wondering what the steps are? Just bolts under hood, behind the door and under the fender we'l? Do I have to remove the headlight ?

Many thanks!

There is a free oem pdf manual in here, with the info on the bolts. Just search for it.
Removing the front bumper and headlight would make it easier.
