Hey guys, I'm having a few problems with my 09 TSX. I'm going to be taking the car in for service this week, but wanted to post my issues on here and see if anyone has had the same problem.

I'm having two problems. One is with the door locks. I have the car set to auto lock the doors when the car is in drive. This has been working fine since I got it and haven't had any issues until this past month. Now what's happening is the auto lock is attempting to lock the car doors after every time I stop the car, even if the doors are locked. I'll stop a stop sign, then start driving, and the doors attempt to lock. It happened all the way to work this morning. This has been happening for the past month or so, but not everyday (it's sporadic).

Second issue is with locking the car and setting the stock alarm. Used to be able to click the keyfob twice to lock the car and you would hear the car beep. Now, I could literally be standing there hitting the lock button over and over again and the alarm doesn't set. This has happened twice so far in the past month. Last time this happened, I had to restart the car, turn it off, and then try to lock the doors and set the alarm. That resolved the issue. It happened again this morning and I tried the same, but it didn't resolve it. The doors will lock and make a whining noise, but the alarm doesn't set.

Any ideas guys? The car only has 25K on it and I'm the original owner.

Thanks!

Sounds like one of the microswitches that detects whether each door is locked or not. I think it's integrated in each door lock's actuator. So it will probably involve an actuator replacement.
