Blackberry Bluetooth Phonebook Sync Issue

Loving my new TSX - first car with Bluetooth - sounds great.

However, every time i try to "import address book" I get an error message. It appears the names are showing up, and the numbers as well, but they are greyed out and unselectable. Only some numbers I can call. I've deleted the re-imported the phone book multile times....same result.

I work for a rather large company and have a few contacts. Might this be the reason why I'm having an issue? Anyone else?

What model of BB?

I have a BB Curve 8310 for work that synced up just fine without issues.

bb8830 world edition, verizon. as i get more familiar with this website, i see it's a problem many have had - but the only fix i've seen seems to be on the lines of..."I tried it again and it worked!"

Hoping someone found something else cuz' I keep failing!

Doesn't look like your phone supports that feature. Here's a link from the Acura website showing which it features it does and doesn't support.

http://www.acura.com/models/handsfre..._index_new.asp

Go here and put in you phone/carrier and car info. Click on the available features, and you'll see that phonebook imports is not supported for your phone. I tried to copy that exact link, but Acura's website is being screwy. Sorry.

I had pretty much the same problem with my Sprint Instinct but when I noticed that the "NOTE" feature didn't work on my XM radio I finally took it to the dealer and it turns out there is a bad module on the radio that needs replaced...I just figured it was a problem with the phone but then when I had a problem with the XM Note feature I thought the two might be tied together....still waiting for the new module.

i have a blackberry 8830, and i did the "try again until it works" method. I suggest the same for you. Doing it first thing after you start your car will work the best, at least in my case
