Back door speaker??

I just noticed today, while washing my car, I had the door open cleaning the back door seal. I had the radio on, and noticed I had no sound coming from my rear speakers at all. I do not have Navi., does anyone know if this is normal?? I turned all the sound in the back and just heard sound from the back deck, no back door sound. thanks.

There are no rear door speakers in the non-Tech models.

No problem at all! The wiring may be there in case you wanted to add speakers. Don't quote me on that, though, and some of the other forumers may know better and would be able to give you a 100% accurate answer.

Just to add to this, if you did have the Tech package, the rear door speakers add hardly anything to the mix. They are way lower in volume and lack bass compared to the front door speakers. Seems stupid to not have them be powered the same as the front doors. Since they are the same speakers in the doors and rear shelf.

They are "low powered" because they are fill for the surround. They should not be full volume as they will imbalance the surround.
