Whoever had to replace their cv shaft, what brand did you get?

 

Is this for your TL or a 2nd gen TSX..? If it's for your TL I would just use the regular 1/2 shaft from your local auto parts store, more then likely it will be a reman part from cardone but the good news is that most of these reman 1/2 shafts come with a lifetime warranty. If it's for a 2nd gen TSX then I would just go to the dealer or search for some OE ones online. 2nd gen TSX 1/2 shafts are pretty rare at your local parts store. Hope this helps.!

 

personally i would go to the dealer for a new cv shaft. I've heard horror stories about remanufactured ones. they are expensive but at least you know you're getting a quality product.

i wish that was the price for the manual.. it's 600+ for a manual. the difference between auto and manual. lol i ended up with EMPI/Empire. they provided me with the wrong axle nut. after hours and hours of replacement and it was just the nut. i guess knowledge....

My 2000 TL had never had a problem besides the tranny going out after 170k. still running strong . thanks guys. if i could do it all again, i woulda done raxle

 

Holy shit I just noticed that!! And I have a m/t fml.. My axles are still good though. Wtf are they putting in the m/t axles for such the price difference gold nuggets?! Is it that they r just a wee bit longer??? 600 bucks?! Faaaaack!
