2nd Hello and thread recommendation(s)

Hello Gents and Ladies <<< Not nec. in that order ;-) I've owned over 30 cars within my time on the roadways. I don't drive more than a few hundred miles per month. Finally sold my Saab (Owned 11 of them ), in turn...just purchased a 1 owner, no accidents, well serviced 2010 TSX with 143k cash and couldn't be happier based on all the reviews at Edmunds and Consumer reports. In time I want to get a low miles garage queen to pop out in the evenings and weekends with my better half.

Not looking to modify anything just yet...BUT...I am wondering is there a thread out there that lists the problem areas of the year and model? Ones that can leave you on the side of the road or ones that fail relatively quickly.
Many thanks in advance folks !!!

Well I think you'll be happy with the TSX. I've had mine 12 years and have had zero issues with it. Filters, wipers, tires, just regular maintenance. I actually keep a spreadsheet of maintenance on my cars - my TSX with 134k miles on it averages $337/year (includes oil changes, rotations, batteries, everything). My 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero that I had for 9 years averaged $882/year! The Saab was a very cool, fun car - but boy it was expensive to maintain. And I get a lot of comments on how nice my TSX wagon is, the service guys have even offered to buy it.

Thank you for the reply Scotty ~ that is good news. I did some digging last night, from tsxclub and found that there is an oil consumption issue. Is this true...what % of these 2.4 TSXs' have it? I've heard it with the 3.7s on the TLs... I guess I assumed Honda 4 cylinder engines were perfectly sound into the 2000s
