2013 TSX Tech Automatic transmission noise

Hi,
New to this forum but learn a lot. Thank you in advance.
I purchased new 2013 TSX AT recently. After 1200 miles, I started to hear and feel harsh shift and noise when I changed shift from park to drive or rear or reverse to drive and or park, at the beginning on slight (5-10% inclination) then on flat surface. It did not happen at the beginning where I always park. Now, it is almost always. Kicking noise and feeling are very annoying and makes me woory about long-term transmission issue. It has been over 3 weeks. I checked AT oil and it is normal. I took to the dealer today (New England-Boston area) and was told that it is normal and may need use brake when I brake even on slight inclined surface so that brake can take the load of car. They run the rest and nothing came out.
I am not totally convinced about the answer and explanation of condition. I wonder if anyone can have any experience with second generation AT including 2013 model and greatly appreciate to any opinions and suggestions.
By the way, it is my first Acura and happy in general excluding minor issues.

Thank you all.

Sounds normal to me, if you're not using the parking brake. The noise and rough shift is The parking pawl moving out of the way, after holding the weight of the vehicle. The proper way to park, is to stop completely shift to park, then set the hand brake firmly (foot still on brake). If you set the hand break right the car won't move. The pawl will still shift to lock the output shaft in case the parking break fails, but won't have the weight of the car on it. Use the hand brake all the time.

Using the transmission park position only will wear out the pawl.
