I just bought a new 2011 TSX 4cyl sedan with tech a few weeks ago. When I turn the steering wheel during parking, I can hear some woofing noise from the steering wheel and the noise is not from the tires. The noise is not as noticeable if I turn the steering wheel much slowly. I searched through the forum and saw quite a number of reports on steering wheel noise due to various issues. I just wonder whether other 2011 TSX owner has the same noise and whether this is normal.

Although I drive a 2010, the steering noise of my car sounds like an RC car. This post really doesn't help with your question, but I just wanted to say this.

Could it be because they are electric assist?

I don't think the noise is from the electronic assist since the noise varies with the speed I turn the steering wheel:
