Just bought a 2010 TSX w/Tech Black / Parchment. Soon noticed a noise coming from inside the steering wheel turns out to be a piece of plastic broken off inside the tubular part of the steering wheel. Every time I would back up or turn th wheel it sounded like a pinball inside it! Talk about annoying! Acura is working on replacing the steering wheel. Anybody else experience this?

 

I haven't experienced this or heard of it. Hopefully the noise wont return once the new steering wheel is installed.

Do TSX's steering wheel make noise when you fully turn them? like a full turn to the right or left it makes a noise....I think its normal but it sounds cheap. I can't really explain it.

 

I had my 2009 TSX do this to me, the dealer had to replace the steering wheel assembly inside.

 

I just hear a whining noise when steering

it sounds like my PS3 driving wheel when i turn it fast

 

my steering doesn't make any abnormal noises, or whining noises.. those noises are usually related to power steering, don't know why you're hearing that seeing we have electronic steering. its like driving a remote control car, except its big and it looks pretty and when you run into the wall the car turns into a marshmellow

 

I don't mean to revive and old thread, but...

I have this whining noise sound too when I turn my steering wheel really quick to the left or right. Anybody else get this and is this normal? I thought this was normal...
