I honestly don't know much about painting chrome, although it does look easy some skills are still needed.

yes I
bought them they were a bit pricey but I 1st of all wanted something really light these are forged wheels, then they were originally 5x114.3 no redrill, they are custom step lip and they are discontinued if i'm not mistaken he wanted $3200 I got them for $2900 shipped which I think was fair for a wheel that goes for 8k+

Not a single scratch on the lips they refinished before they were sold, only the faces had some minor scratches but I already took care of that

aiight some more update like I previously said I redid the faces by going with a fine and brighter silver nothing crazy, now into pics

faces were sanded with 400 grit sand paper

Name: DSC_0541_zpsa22c6cd8.jpg
Views: 587
Size: 374.8 KB

then sealed to cover up all sand scratches

Name: DSC_0543_zps68ff62f8.jpg
Views: 579
Size: 290.9 KB

then base was applied

Name: DSC_0544_zps0f8f1fdd.jpg
Views: 582
Size: 326.5 KB

then cleared, the one on the left is unpainted and the right is freshly painted

Name: DSC_0545_zps06cf0e13.jpg
Views: 613
Size: 356.8 KB

while I was at it a also purchased brand new genuine HRE center caps since the others were a bit dented

Name: DSC_0558_zps46186107.jpg
Views: 617
Size: 385.2 KB

and also decided to gold dip the bolts

Name: DSC_0559_zpsc4ebad58.jpg
Views: 587
Size: 308.2 KB

and for the final product

Name: DSC_0572_zpsf45a521f.jpg
Views: 646

^ trust me man I can't wait to have them on 2 but the 10hrs shift a day is brutal, i took the wheels apart nearly a month ago and I painted them last week end haha but I'm so glad I did cause painting mesh wheels is a PITA specially getting between the spokes without getting dry spot or runs since I'm picky, each face took me about 20mns, now all I gotta do is torque the bolts, install tires, some more low and camber haha and I'll be rolling
