^^^ .... got Nokya Blue lights in my High Beam/DRL and I installed that garage door weather stripping on my type-s lip...actually looks pretty good and matches the dip pretty well....as yall can see i also got my wheels installed.... they are:
Enkei WDM's
Specs: 18" x 8.5" tires are 245/40 R18
no rolling done
POWDERCOATING DONE!!!!

^^^ all that powder..... the valve cover was done in a silver penny base coat and aqua clear top coat...
the strut bar and hood prop were done in the penny silver base and gold top coat with pearl clear added....radiator stays and washers on valve cover were done in Super Chrome Base and gold top coat...
the below pics are just other random pics of the car enjoy and let me know what you guys think!

when i get the engine bay cleaned i will post better pics of the powder coating...pictures really do not do it justice though... and btw a good friend of mine did the powercoating...here is local to the MS Gulf Coast area and he can ship!!! if anyone wants some work done pm me for more info....
only reason i went with it is because it was cheap....and honestly i wanted to see what it would look like....besides the type-s lip is not even painted....im not taking it that serious....cause im eventually gonna go with the sports bumpers....so im not spending money on paint matching....and i like the black accents.

no camber adjusters required....it's only a 1.3" drop...tires have been on since October of 2014 and no uneven wear....no rubbing either, even when steering wheel is fully locked either left or right...i didn't wanna go with a crazy drop...wanted something functional and still daily driveable...so H&R was my best option and im more than happy with the results...would highly recommend
i welcome different opinions...in your eyes what's going on that's too much for you? is it the black accents? or the lip...i also plan on getting the JDP carbon fiber duckbill for the trunk eventually... give me some feedback! lol
The front of the car looks lower than the rest..looks odd.
i've only got about $700 tied up in wheels and tires.....i could possibly get that for them yes...but that's not gonna be enough to get the realls i really want.... i would love some works, or avant garde's......but i don't really wanna do much else untill i pay the car off completly.
Well... where do I start? Lol. Pretty much everything mentioned. The plasti dip I think is tacky, and that front lip looks out of place. Would look 100000x better if paint matched, same as the grille. The wheels I'm not really a fan of, but they may look alright in a different color. The black makes them look smaller than what they actually are. And as far as the powdercoating, looks cool, would look cooler if the paint scheme actually matched something else on your car.

my reasoning behind not painting the lip is because im getting the front sports bumper by summer....so why waste a couple hundred dollars when it's gonna be useless in a few months?
You put wheels on your car that you don't like because they were cheap? I'm sure you can find a lot of cheap crap you can slap on your car...
Front lip NEEDS to be paint matched. Or just take it off and make the car look better until you get the new front bumper.

but for now, i like it. until i can save up enough to get new wheels. besides those WDM's on average go for $160 a piece so if purchased new i would be over 1k in wheels/tires...i just got a good deal. thanks for the feedback though. and i don't see the point in doing what some guys do with their CU2's and drop 4-5k on suspension, wheels, etc...when they don't own the car yet.
Not hating on you, just saying I never understood that mentality.
I completely agree with you about not wasting money, but I've seen a lot of people waste money on "temporary" changes that they're pretty much wasting money on since they're going to change to something better anyways. Never understood this logic. "Might as well buy this since I'm gonna buy something better anyways."

no offense taken, i've had the car for about a year, and i got the lip shortly after purchase....im ok with throwing away $80 when i get sports bumpers....but im not ok with throwing away several hundred after i paint match it....also, i can always take the dip off the lip and sell it for stupid cheap ($20) to someone who does wanna paint it...
i have already said what i needed to say about my lip...i like it that's all that matters....no need for snide remarks.... you could always spend $500 on the exhaust, and mount on your car to see if it's close to the bumpers......but ill save you the trouble...yes, the left muffler needs to be adjusted a little...but the right side sits right...ill take a pic for you when i get off work and try to get it up sometime soon.
i have no clue lmao....last time i was at Acura i asked them if that was a Factory part or what and they said "no" im thinking whoever had the car before me put them on....but hey, they might help one day guard against dings so im leaving them lol
Don't shoot me!
Just really think your car would look 100x better with a painted lip. But I guess you're right. As long as you like it, more power to ya!
And as far as that trim.... I remember that being a huge issue on older civics. They had rubber trim on all 4 wheel wells and all the road salt/dirt/moisture would build up inside of them over time and cause rust.... I would remove them if I were you!
Unless you live somewhere where it doesn't snow.
Real spoiler looks good doe!

the fender trim stuff is like a hard plastic...its not rubber...its strange...besides i live on the gulf coast of Mississippi....it never snows here....so im not worried
my next purchase for the car should be the Mugen window visors....i love the look of them...but not sure when im gonna pull the trigger on em....or the JDP carbon fiber rear duckbill/spoiler ughhh decisions

I don't seem to recall lol
but definitely not cheap
