so it doesn't seem like i can use the rear splash guards with the sports bumper. do they make different ones? And what are your thoughts about keeping the front splash guards on? Does it look funny with only the fronts?

You could use the rear splash guards with the sports bumper... but it wasn't meant for you to do so. You could try and fit them on, put in some holes with the self-tapping screws, but personally I wouldn't do it.

As for splash guards on the front only, all TSXs in Canada come with only the front splash guards . I was bothered by it when I first got my car, but I eventually got side skirts and took the fronts off.

If you plan on taking off your splash guards, I suggest you to take it off sooner rather than later. I took mine off recently and noticed marks on the body paint due to dirt/debris being trapped inside.

This is true. Took mine off in spring this year and noticed some marks. Most of it buffed out, but definitely not all.
