Puppetmaster's 2011 TSX Wagon

Playing around with Flickr since I'm officially giving up on Photobucket, and starting a new picture thread because I can't edit the old one. Took some low light pictures with my GS3 this morning just to mess with. Tried some editing using Aviary and a filter because that's what the cool kids do (and usually the worst pictures are most heavily edited).

2011 TSX wagon, got it in April 2011 with 7 miles on the clock, and kept it stock for as long as I could.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/7129234@N02/9718155744/http://www.flickr.com/photos/7129234@N02/9714824147/http://www.flickr.com/photos/7129234@N02/9714752777/http://www.flickr.com/photos/7129234@N02/9718224222/
The car is lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs, with Koni Sports (Yellows). Rims are Volk CE-28N in titanium gunmetal, 18x8.5 +30 ET. Got some bald 245/40/18 Falken Azenis RT-615 on now, but those will be replaced by Conti ExtremeContact DW this week, along with a much needed alignment and fender roll.

My suspension install notes are here, but as you'll see all the pictures are down, but I'll try to transfer them over to Flickr:

Here are some from earlier in the summer that I moved from Photobucket.

You don't have any pictures with puppets sitting on your car? I thought you were the puppetmaster?

Haha, the name was actually from the old Metallica album, Master of Puppets, not actual puppets.

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. I've been contemplating the OEM front lip pieces, but even though those don't hang too low, I'm already scraping on certain speed bumps and parking garage ramps. Maybe one day I'll have the money to do an Aero front conversion instead.

But I feel like you should own at least one puppet if you have that username... I am disappointed now

However I am not disappointed in your wagon. Looking great

LOL I'm sure my kids have at least some finger puppets in their toy chest somewhere, I'll take a look for the next photo shoot.

Thanks, although you and PPower still have the most striking wagons IMO. The Vortex Blue really sets things off.

I'd say it's the other way around. Both of you are rolling on Volks, haha

Thanks, with the gunmetal on graphite, I think it sometimes looks on a bland side to be honest. But then understated is my style.

Hey, I haven't been around much and missed this. Looking really great there! It's also good to see that one of the originals that researched the lowering issue is finally on a drop and wheels. :P

Thanks, wish I had real pictures like you guys though . Took me a while to decide because I kept going back and forth between this set up and H&R coils. The Koni + Eibachs ride so nicely and really are more than enough for me, plus after the alignment and new tires (ExtremeContact DW replacing the bald Azenis 615), it's like a new car - so stable and turns on a dime.

Do you mean remove the rails? No can do. I have Thule cross bars and cargo box that I actually do use sometimes.

How do you like the Conti DW? Mine tramline like crazy and follow any tiny grooves in the pavement. It's kind of annoying.

I've gotten two or three alignments while I've had them on.

No issues with the DW at all, before or after the alignment. I really like them in both dry and wet conditions. They are not on right now but I did notice them starting to get louder, but that's always the case with summers.

Got it. The only thing is that my Thule cross bars are the set that I use for my wife's MDX, so they stick out considerably when installed on my car. Doesn't bother me, but I've had passengers hit their head on them somehow getting in and out of the car. Oops.

Interesting, thanks. I never noticed that but see what you are saying. Ours has a more pronounced, defined bumper section where it juts out and the European version is just flush all the way down.

The euro hatch appear to have softer lines as well. Looks good. It seems odd Acura didnt offer that traditional shade of silver here in the US.

Took this while on a road trip, but I realize all my pictures are essentially the same angle. I don't think I've washed the car in over three months either; it has rained a lot this summer.

Thanks. The tint is 35% all round, Suntek Carbon, IIRC.
