no need to.

although ill be using that same color scheme with the ron jon style grill with black mesh and middle piece in black chrome

ive already made up my mind to paint the MDX upper and lower grill in dark black chrome and the middle piece in light black chrome.

Starting to not like this ride because of too many un-necessary mods. I bought a TSX because I like the look of the TSX in all shapes, lines, and forms.

You've got LS tailpipes and an MDX grille!!! Your car like Michael Jackson son!!!

why?! that's just retarded man. i dont roll like that.

i guess you guys dont like to read. the grill is interchangeable. initially i wasnt going for the mdx look. i wanted that ron jon look. i kept the mdx look because i know i can make it look good.

pay me $800 to take off my ls tips and mdx grill so you can "like" my car son

heres an old post you made on my old thread. did you change your mind?

Now that Ive done a lot of mods to it(the best being clearing my headlights and plasti dipping my grill) I couldn't be happier with it.

haha sorry, i was just making fun of that guy. I dig everything you've done to your car. I wish I had the time/money/patience to do with mine what you've done with yours. I have a growing list of things I've done with my car, and I'm always looking for more.

I have somewhat mixed feelings about your new grille though. I think it has potential, and if it ends up looking close to the ron jon grille then I think itll look pretty sweet.

Even if someone mods their car in a way I don't like, I still have respect for them putting in the time and all the effort it takes to do it. I'm all about modifying anything to be different.

ill also plan to finalize the paint scheme on the mdx grill this weekend as well

I think his car looks nice, there are a couple mods I would't do, which make the car look a little busy, but nothing is permament. Plus I thinkl he is very creative and has geat idea. Now.. I wouldn't cut holes in the hood on this one

I'm with Nexson on this one...overall, great ingenuity...but like with all mods...there are times where you pull back and revert...

Nicely done until this point thus far though...

painted the upper and lower grill gunmetal. got rid of the chrome and painted the middle metallic silver. found out it doesnt match the color of my fogs so im going to repaint it a darker silver. used home depot garage sealer on the top to fill in the gap.

im still working on the 2nd grill. the mesh grill that i got was too short and heavy. so i need to find another mesh to work with.

nah i dont plan on painting the fog light housing. i like the silver.

i like it def, my only critcism, and its not of your work, is that features like the A emblem are muy grande, but thats to be expected since it came from a bigger car

also, is this gonna be your new every day grill?

nice choice with the silver btw

yea theres nothing i can do with the size of the A emblem. the size of the emblem doesnt bug me at all. just reminds me of a benz emblem. when i repaint it with a darker silver, hopefully it will look smaller.

for now it will be my everyday grill until i finish the ron jon style grill in a few weeks.
