2011 GLM Type S Kit and LS460 tips

So today was a test fitment and the front lip obviously doesnt fit well around the foglight area. i trimmed around it and it looks good to me.

i got my s techs today and will be installing them tomorrow along with my LS460 tips.

i will be sanding down the lip tomorrow and paint matching it. also probably do a debadging while im at it

^ kpsharp929, his car was totaled after driving over a huge rock or something.

I have to say, the GLM color looks really nice. Darker than Grigio, looking almost black, and very elegant looking.

Amazing. Despite sharing the same parts as your '09, this iteration is leaps and bounds better. Great job.

Ya the left one is angled wrong. I have to make a few bends on the brackets to even it out. Otherwise I might get it rewelded

I like that you wrapped the eyelids... very subtle but nice. lemme know if anyone is selling some, I've been looking for a while.

Front end looks great...car looks so shiny still! Love the color I would probably ditch the eyelids, though...fitment on them looks a bit iffy.

Get that rear end plasti-dipped and fitment squared away and it'll be a neck-breaker!

Defcon, did you take your ride back to eastside muffler to get the tips installed?? These mofo's in Colorado talking about modifying too damn much to get those tips on. I just don't trust their judgement. Help a brother out.

thanks. i like the eye lids. i need to add more 3M tape.

i have to do a lot of minor touch ups. the plasti dipped parts i had some tears in them. also a lot of 3M taping on the gaps in my kit.

yep. hahahaha its pretty simple. just cut little by little until it fits.

i have the type s rear and i cut it myself. although i was in a hurry and cut too much. i had them cut my OEM bumper which was covered up by the LS tips and type s rear

my suggestion is get a cardboard, draw your shape, cut it out and test fit the ls tips on that. then you can use the cardboard as a template for cutting your OEM bumper

I went to get cake/coffee with Mike, and by the time we came you were gone. lol Umm i think for the switchbacks you are suppose to leave it on for 10 minutes or something. I tried it but it didnt work. About 3 '09 tsxers (Supreme,Kowloon, & 09ACURATSX) got it to work. Maybe it doesnt work for us cuz we are '10, and '11?

id like to go lower but not with los angeles roads. debadge was simple. use a heatgun and pliers. or you can use tooth floss. then goo gone to get rid of excess adhesive

Hi defcon. Long time no see. Lot of work.

Car looks awesome... from a distance. Too bad that you still dont pay any attention to details. I love your new rims, fogs looks better then the old version. and thats it...

I can still see road thru your exhaust... You must understand... whatever you do... whatever you install... if someone notice that fake exhaust tips... you lame.

I hope you finally find a way to install them properly.

Good luck!

Oh and how is your child doin... I hope everything is fine! Take care.
