Yeah why whats wrong with the ride. If its the name, its old and i already asked a mod if i can change it coz its embarrasing and dates back to the asianavenue/aol/msn days before facebook. Lol. I never got a response from the mod.

Im Filipino and I dont get "pintas"??fairly fluent too LOL

If your going to black out the grille I say paint match it and make it glossy and leave the emblem chrome... the rims on the other hand looks good for stocks!!

At least ur name isnt xXSSJv3geTA!FlipXx then I would have been like wtf nostalgia to early 90's

Lol thanks bro Yeah i used to carry the name with Filipino pride, now i hang my head in shame lol And i dont get the pintas either, whatever.

As for the grill, i just recently exposed the chrome on the A and left everything black. Its ok for now, but paint matching it will definitlely be on my list of mods, along with rims, drop, and sport bumper, eventually. I also want to get either a SRI or CAI just to help the engine sound more aggressive. The V6 is super smooth and strong, just a little quiet when pushed hard. Im glad the rims are 18s, looks good stock and being a black car, somewhat hides the fact it needs a drop.

So i got tired of the flat black on the rims and the fact they get dirty so easily and so fast. So i decided to redo them and try the plasti dip silver metalizer to get a gunmetal look, and with the gloss, should be easier to clean. Oh and my wife calling them the "spare tire look" got old, so yea, i shot some pics, let me know what you guys think. Thanks for lookin!

One rim i decided to go ahead and start from scratch due to it having a lot of texture and lifting.

After 4 coats of the black

First coat of the silver metalizer

4 coats of metalizer. Looks bluish coz i increased the saturation of the pic.

Side by side

Jacked up. And finally a sunny day in the Chi

My buddy holding up the wheels to make sure they match

Wheels on

Overall im happy with the results. I like this look better. I think the flat/matte look looks better on the body rather than the rims. Ill get better shots when i get to wash the car. what you guys think?

I don't think the OP is around anymore. It's a DIY with PlastiDip if you read his posts. Peel-able vinyl in a spray liquid form. About $7-$8/can at Home Depot.
