Miyagi__'s Progress Thread

YOOOOOOOO. So I remember introducing myself a year ago and instead of posting up some stuff, I stalked the threads for ideas and now I'm finally able to start a build.

Now, I don't have a lot of money I can spend so I'll be starting off real slow. Bare with me!

My mods so far from 2012 - now (plus a bunch of detail just in case future modders want to snatch some lol);
Injen CAI/SRI (convertible)
Nokya Hyper Yellow DRL (9005/HB3 65w)
Nokya Hyper Yellow Fogs (H11 55w)
Plasti Dipped grille and rear chrome lining
Debadged emblems
LED; visor lights, license plate (VLED 5000k)
Lamin-X vinyl wrapped fogs
muffler tips out

That's about it, I think. Next mods I want to do are:
Red vinyl tail lights except reverse lights
Megan EZ Streets
Mount wheels
Megan Racing Camber Arms
Roll fenders

Maybe more will come along the way but for now, Here are some pics!

Car looks nice man. So you should plastidip the greyish part of your wheels and leave the smaller chrome spoke visible. I bet it would look real nice.

No I didn't change the low beams. It's a picture editing app I have on my iphone to make it look all pretty like. Lol.

Big thanks to ElementWheels.com! They provided me with free hub rings, lug nuts, fast shipping, and mount and balance! But I totally forgot about the TPMS.... lol. So gonna have to get the tires removed to transfer the TPMS from old wheels to new ones. Then lowerrrrrr. (:

nahh your color looks good. I think the gap is throwing you off. It'll look straight once you're lowwww. Maybe throw some light tint on your corner headlights. Anything to accent your darker wheels. Your grille helps already.

lol I would do it at the same time but me and a homie are installing the coils ourselves to save the dough. Going to follow that Tein SS DIY install. haha! But lower first it is! Thanks for the feedback guys. :P

Gonna mount the wheels with Discount Tire. Totally forgot about the TPMS issue... lol. I need to transfer them from my stockies. They say 127 bucks for tires removed, TPMS swap, tires installed, balance, and mount. Is that reasonable?

.....ah okay i'll buy em. lol. Much easier and less hassle. Thanks again guys. x)

I have to put this project on hold for a bit..... Some friends I know pulled me into a pyramid scheme so now I'm trying to back out of it and return all the supplies... I'm so glad I can return it.. Spent 587 bucks on it thinking I could get money but did some research the next day and found out I phuoccccd up.... I'm devastated but hopefully I'll get my money back. Wish me luck guys.

Returned my Megan EZ Streets before it shipped from Throwdown Performance. Since I'm vietnamese, I'm celebrating Chinese New Years next week so I'm not supposed to spend until the month is over. Hopefully I'll get everything done by March 23rd and hit that meet that Ed mentioned! We'll see though.

ANYWAYS.....

This is Mr. TIFFANY (aka MC MiYoung)'s inspired tail light stencil thing. Did the same thing he did; cut out stencils for the tail lights where it bends and voilaaah.

With Flash Part I;

With Flash Part II final;

No Flash;

I don't know if I'm feeling this tint.... It really contrasts with the reverse tail lights and it bothers me... maybe because I'm not having enough light. lol. but I'm gonna leave it on to see what it's like in the day time first. Better pics tomorrow. :P

I think they are darker... I might have to buy better quality ones. -.- It's like smoke red.

EDIT: oh wow they're called RED SMOKE tail lights. I got the link from one of the guys that posted on your thread.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/310321598739...84.m1439.l2649
dammn. .-.-.

EDITTTT: actually i don't even know. whatever. I'll buy other ones next time. lol.
