Love my 2010 Glacier Blue TSX

No serious mods, but very happy with my TSX.

Here's one with the OEM backup sensors.

I think I will get bigger wheels though.

and last one from above...

Actually, from what I've read here in these forums, the color was available for early 2010 models but then removed from the choices shortly after the introduction. It is a color that was available since 2008.

Nope, I have the standard non-navi TSX. GPS navigation systems don't work where I am.

Back up sensors are working fine. Here's a couple of photos of the installation.

Yes. As soon as the you engage the reverse gear the sensor beeps to let you know it is on. It won't beep until you get about 3 feet from an object (I haven't measured this precisely), as you get closer to the object in back of you the beeping starts increasing (in frequency not in volume). I usually stop at this point but I think if you continue to reverse the beeping will become one long tone. I'm just guessing that last part so maybe I'll try it out this weekend on with someone spotting me.

Hope that answers your question.

Very Nice 671, the Glacier Blue colour is still available up here in Canada, but I have only seen one and that's on a dealer's lot.

Congrats on the Glacier Blue. I was going to get GB on my 06 but went with silver at the last minute because it was easier to find.

I noticed you have the shark fin antennae and without GPS. Is is for satellite radio?

Thanks Tech. My dealer only had a total of 2 TSX's on the lot - the Glacier Blue and PWP. The PWP is a classic choice but I wanted to be different so I chose the blue. Don't regret it at all.

lopez, it took my local installer (I am NOT a DIYer - especially with something like this) about 4 hours. They were recommended by the dealer to install all aftermarket items. Funny thing is, my dealer was going to charge me $499 for the aftermarket sensors, which only came in white, black and silver. They would then have to charge me another $80 to have them painted to match my car. Was not comfortable with that as I could see the paint chipping or flaking off easily. Another big difference is that the aftermarket ones have only 2 sensors and the OEM have 4. I opted to go with the OEM which came perfectly paint matched (purchased it from Delray for $400 inc. shipping) at no extra charge. Local installer charged me $75 to do the job, so I definitely made the right choice.

You should go for it, especially if you don't have the rear view backup camera. It will save you a lot of guesswork when backing up.

Thanks ttk5. This site is awesome. I initially wanted CBP, but as stated earlier, my dealer only had PWP and the GLACIER BLUE in stock. Very happy with my choice.

Thanks JeffS. As far as I know, the shark fin contains electronics for the satellite radio, GPS and regular radio. Since I have the base model only radio and SAT radio are included but Guam doesn't have SAT radio service so it really just functions as a radio antennae for me.

Thanks madeguy76. Believe me, I have imagined it with the bigger wheels and the rest of the sports package. I'm going to keep it low key though as I am a lot older than most of the TSX owners here and I don't want my wife to think I'm going through some mid-life crisis . Just purchased the OEM splash guards and will attempt to DIY install (hehe...I think this is within my capabilities ). I'm also contemplating getting the wing spoiler but I need to find out who can install that for me here in Guam. Last thing I want is for water to seep into my trunk!! It frickin' rains a lot over here!

Yay I'm not the only one with a GBM! It's such a rare color on this side of the coast.

I'm also happy I chose it instead of the other colors. Was gonna go for PWP or Grigio, but they are somewhat "cookie cutter" where I am.
