BAM!

I'm back, bitches.

Haha <3

Nah -- I have just been so busy and honestly, thought about stepping out of the car scene for a while. Had other things to dedicate my money towards but -- Ed and I will be back in the spring!

As for now, in the spring I am installing the three arm camber kit that I have had sitting in the garage for literally over a year now -- lowering another inch or so -- probably rolling -- and getting spacers for the rear. Just not sure if I am going to go 15mm or 20mm

Hmmmmm...

HA...
Well, glad to see you back. I personally missed you and all the leghumperry that normally takes place around here.

another inch, you say? Is an extra inch really that big of a deal?

Nah -- but I want to bring the rear out a tad when I put the RJs back on.

I'm just not sure how much to do. It's a 32 offset in the back, so Im thinking 15mm

Also going to talk to my paint guy about painting the grill to match .. but I wanted to see a pic of another PWP with the color matched grill. I haven't been successful. I suppose I might be the first one. Lol

I would colormatch the lower V part of the grill and leave the middle piece alone

By the looks of things, I wouldn't use anything larger than 15mm spacers. Maybe 10mm up front and 15mm rear?

I don't know if the front needs anything honestly. It's pretty flush right now... I'm going to start with the back first.

Hey everyone

Quick update from me ...

Installed the SPC camber kit, got an alignment (-3 camber in the back FTW, won't fit otherwise), and maxxed out the Teins.

Sorry for the crappy pic:

Headlights getting cleared out in two weeks

Then, that's probably it for a while.

Haha! I vaguely remember this. That's awesome that I helped someone with a modding decision. What does she have now?

Awesome! Good luck with it! We just sold our 97 Cadillac not too long ago... I miss the comfort factor, I don't miss the maintenance factor!

They are 8 inch, actually.

It's my tires.. they are pretty thick. I wish I went a little thinner. Maybe next year. Also, the offset is 32. Not that it makes the world of a difference, lol.

Thanks! Really? What kinda maintenance issues did you have to deal with? I'm hoping the improved looks and younger demographic translates into a more maintenance free vehicle.

Ah! I'm sorry I just saw this.

Just in general as it got older. It seemed that every month one or two radiator hoses went, causing the car to overheat. Then we wound up replacing the entire radiator and all of the hoses at once. Not cheap. Then when driving the digital dash just cracked out of nowhere, was a trillion dollars to fix. Then, when the AC and heat went.. forget it!! Lol. We threw in the towel at that point.

But until the last year of it driving us nuts, it was a great car.

When we gave it up it was just under 200,000 miles I believe.

1st, Bruce is the effing MAN...those are gonna look hot on your car.
Post up in his thread too once you get them on...I don't think most people realize he does lights.

Thank you for that...knowing my fiancee she won't have the car at 200k but nice to know we could go that long. I'm lucky I can do a lot of it myself...so a busted radiator and hoses, i could live with...cracked dash would annoy me.

Thanks for the response!

Oh, that car will definitely go a long way

Apparently I am the guinea pig for 2g TSXs, and this is Bruce's first one. But, I will give him praise all day every day on the forum once they are installed. He's been a pleasure to work with.

!! Awwww. Wow, that's so flattering that you have my car as your screen saver, thank you!

Yes, he can do your lights, but you will need to mail them to him. He will mail you a set for you to use in the meantime, but requires that you leave a deposit to ensure that you don't run away with the headlights! (I believe his deposit if $350).

He is on the forums here.. AckTL05. He's a good guy, send him a message, he'll take care of you
