im ready to buy some 19's now!

19x8.5 +35 all around.

still debating on the size of tires. i know i want larger sidewalls

which rims should i go for?

these are VMR wheels made for audi, bmw and vws that have a 5x112 and 5x120 lug pattern.

the shop said they can drill the holes to make it 5x114.3

also they can bore out the center to make it fit

VMR V701

VMR VB3

VMR V708 onyx black

VMR V708 hyper silver

this is the only one that has a default setting of 5x114.3 and will fit the TSX with no modifications.

Vertini Hennesey

Lower offsets man, I like the VB3s due to the concavity.

V708 are my 2nd favorite because they are very unique and only found on Audi's

the vertini hennesey's is my least favorite

I think the Hennesey look similar to the Exe Image wheels, minus the rivets. Not to on the offset of each, but maybe better on price?

Go for the V701 hand down...they look like Advan RS which i think is prolly one of the best looking rims for our car. How do you plan on boring them? I dont think VMR does that themselves do they?

Dont go for the Audi RS or BMW CSL reps since it would look too much like ur just rocking rims from a different car...

i just realized they do look like the Advan RS. i initially liked it because it fit the aggressive look that i was going for and how shiny and silver it looked.

im buying my rims from 323motorsports.com they mainly cater to the Euro market. they said they can drill the 5x112 to 5x114.3. the guy said they do it all the time.

i was looking at the EXE but the original ones are discontinued. the one you posted are the EXE evolutions. i found the Vertini Hennesey but i dont think it fits my setup. my car is no where near a VIP or clean look and wouldnt look right.

Between those I'd say the 701's. Why not just get the Advans instead and forget about the whole boring issue.

701's look better than advans. also the VMRs are $1100 w/ boring modifications. i save over $1800 getting these.

701's better than advans?! blasphemy!

Though for a car that will be driven often, replicas do work since it will be less painful if you curb or hit a pothole.

Our Harrow wheels come in 20" x 8.0", with a 32mm offset in the rear and a 48mm offset in the front, the fitment couldn't be more in tune with the abnormal front to rear fenders of the TSX. And with 225/35/20 tires, the sidewalls will be juuuust right, stretched and still comfortable. They would ride like 19" on other vehicles and the gauges / overall diameter would be ideal. At 25 lbs each, they aren't heavy at all, same as the stock 17" actually. Hubcentric and BBK clearance as well.

You should consider these, and also collect the discount they come with seen here as the PEPP discount:
http://ronjonwheels.com/discounts.html

If you like em, I can quote you via email.

Here are some pics:

Here they are unedited with the same suggested tire size of 225/35/20 on a different car:

701's look great. I'm running VB3's on my 3 series and I love them except for the fact they are a pain to clean. Since you're in Cali talk to Modbargains.com about the VMR's. They have a good rep on the bmw forums.

avoiding curb damages with 17" is hard enough, but low profile rims with 18 and 19 is to scary for me lol
defcon- did ur G35 rims have tpms? good choice of rims btw

no i didnt transfer the tpms to the G35's. i wont transfer it either to the new rims im buying. ive gotten used to the 2 indicator lights

only thing im afraid of are the unexpected potholes that i drive over on the freeways. i drive under 70 most of the times and just look for large potholes to avoid
