Grigio Metallic w/ Only the Rear Bumper of the Aero Kit

As some of you may know someone scratched my stock rear bumper recently and I had the opportunity to replace it with the Aero bumper. A few people asked for pictures, so here goes...

First, here's how it looked originally:

And here's where I tried to get the same angle (from memory):

Sorry about the different picture sizes, I didn't realize I did 640x480 for the originals.

Here are some more:

Here, you can see the dent I got less than a month after I first got the car (no luck finding the perp in this case):

I missed my stock bumper at first but now I think the Aero bumper looks a lot better when viewed from the back. In terms of looking at the car from the side, I'm still not sure how I like it. It does sort of look like the car has a big butt, but the car seemed to have that characteristic without the Aero bumper.

Since I rarely look at the car from the side as in the pics above, I think I'm fine. Besides, I don't really have the money right now to get the front and/or sides of the kit.

What do you guys think?

I had my car for maybe 2 weeks before someone drove into my back bumper in the parking lot and left there tag print on my stock bumper. Now I just back into the parking spots with the curbs behind them. In hopes that someone will rip my front bumper off so I can get it replaced with all the rock chips and brick chunks taken out of it lol

the color of the rear bumper is slightly different to the rest of the car's color... (my opinion)

No, you're right, it's actually a fact. After being exposed to the elements for nearly a year, there's no way the paint will stay the same as when it came from the factory.

The good thing is that you have to look really hard (for me, anyway) to see the difference, but nonetheless the difference is there.

Man I love PMM and Grigio, such deep and amazing colors. Ive always been a silver or white kinda guy, but after getting the PMM this year, I can never go back. Car looks great bro. You gonna get the whole kit, or just keep the back bumper only?

Depends on what you mean by "near"... The building in the back is actually Berkeley City College.

Thank you, thank you.

I had considered the whole kit but for me it doesn't make that much financial sense since the car is a lease. Obviously, my wheels don't make much financial sense either, but I try to limit my actions that don't make financial sense!

But yeah, the front lip from the Euro Accord looks interesting to me, so depending on the cost I may spring for that. I don't know if I'll keep the car at the end of the lease or not, but still have a couple of years to decide.

Hurry up and put on the spacers and post pics of your car!!

Thanks for the comments. My setup is not staggered: 42mm offset all around, 19x8.5".

looks solid!

Do you think I'll have the same issue if I get a black bumper? I've had my TSX for 5 months now.

It might be a little better with black, but I think if you really looked carefully you would be able to tell a difference.

Grigio's color gradient is really noticeable. I was outside with the sun shining on the front of the car and it looked like the car was 2 different colors.

Anyway, thank you guys for the additional comments and thread resurrection. I actually have another thread with newer pics, if you're interested:

Nice job. I suggest to replace exhaust tips... check my thread for that. I think stock tips look funny with that bumper... but its only my opinion.
