Fredster's TSX

I finally got my wheels and tires mounted on Friday and gave it a good wash today. Still not done yet, I still need to get my TEIN SS coilovers to complete the look; but that's like 4-6 months down the road. I plan on dropping anywhere from .75-1.25" for the mild drop. My wheels are XXR 527 18x8.75 +35 and tires are 235/40/18. I did a quick photoshop to see how it looks on the drop just to see how it looks. What do u guys think?

It looks pretty cool, but I do have two questions. 1) Is there a center cap for the rims, and 2) do most after-market rims have extra holes for a bolt pattern or can you get them without the extra holes?

i don't think the tires are that meaty, a lot of members running 18 runs 235/40 lol

a drop will def. make it look a lot better!

and fyi be careful with those open ended lug nuts, they might rust!

I like the wheels, tires are a little meaty, but really depends on your drop. I have the Tein SS coils, good choice to go with. I love that they are adjustable. Agree with Ed on the lugs. Keep em clean and dry.

And not sure about that Heat plate but....Im always reppin my home town too.....Go Hawks.....what?

Thanks Professor. I do have the center cap but they look ugly I'm planning on looking for another cap and possibly customize it. As far as your second question, I'm not so sure about the extra holes. I think it depends. For my particular type, it has another bolt pattern.

Yeah, maybe I should have gotten 225/40/18 but I like it how it is right now. It definitely will rub if I drop it more than 1.5" I'm probably going to drop 1" all around at most.

Thanks! My front is rolled, probably do the back later when I drop it a little.

Yeah, these Muteki paints are thin. I can see a few chipping already. I might have to get it touched up.

I've been reading every thread on coilovers for our car and it seems like the TEIN SS is the best. What damper settings do you have it in?

LOL! I've been a Heat fan since 95' Zo, Timmy, ThunderDan, etc. days. I donno about the Hawks man...they young but missing a superstar to help Joe Johnson. We'll see wassup. Love my Heat all day! HA!
