Me too, but I'm going on 28 and don't expect help from my parents at this point in my life (with a wife and kid especially). However I wouldn't have turned down a new TSX when I was still living at home and supported by my parents if they wanted to buy me one, that's for sure.

BTW, I just paid off my car last month in full. So this thing is finally all MINE!

I'm so with you. I'm 31 and since 18 Ive had 11 cars. I just get bored like old clothes in your closet. That's why i don't do heavy radio stuff because it's not worth it to do that and pull it out. I just replace mid-range drivers now and that's it. Paid for every car even the 1st car which was new at 16.

mad props to both of you for being able to do that throughout your lives. Honestly, my 30hrs/week can barely support my regular living so I cant imagine how much energy you guys must have put in...

I put about $14K down (didn't have a trade-in since my previous car was a lease) and financed the rest. Paid it off in just over 2 years.

I also paid off my wife's vehicle earlier last year. It's nice not having a single car payment anymore.
