DWU's Crystal Black 2009 TSX

Being part of this community has been an addiction! So I am deciding to make my own build form with mods. I love this community.
Here is a few done so far:
1) Carbon Viber Vinyl grill (decided to not wrap the silver edges because it gives a nice look...well I love it)
2) 35% tint all around windows

Mods to be done by next week:
1) Install my H&R sport springs
2) Carbon Fiber vinyl on both sides of Outer mirrors
3) Gun smoke on headlights (only on the orange)
4) Tail Lights (Still figuring out the tints and etc to be done)

Here are some pictures:

going to get this on by next week or so

GOT MY GRILL DONE TODAY! (Silver edges)

Anyone can have their own opinions and ideas if they want. More mods to be done soon.

2) Carbon Fiber vinyl on both sides of Outer mirrors

there's 2 of us that already did this mod and took it off right afterward because it looked weird.

maybe you might like it after you install it

Yeah, your vinyl does seem to look a little different than mine. But honestly I think it looked off just cause of the size of the mirror. But yeah it may look more subtle on black.

Side note, I have been thinking about this for a little while and I think this is the perfect time to be a Guinea Pig. You should buy some glossy clear coat and spray it on your vinyl after you wrap your mirrors. I think that after 3 coats maybe less, your CF will look like the real deal. Would try it on mine but I dont have anything else to wrap on my car lol.

Im pretty sure Vinyl and 3M are two different things am I wrong? The carbon fiber that I used was the official real 3M carbon fiber. I got it done at HD Auto Salon in San Jose. A really good place where they specifically do Vinyl and carries any 3M materials.

Five Axis S5:F in Gun-Metal
19x8.5
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3mm
Offset +45
centerbore 73.1mm

I already know the wheels will fit on the TSX, but what tire sizes would fit best?

245/35 would be closest to stock diameter
but few went with 245/40 for more comfortable ride

good wheel choice, just so you know the colors on the s5:f are matte, so the gunmetal looks like matte black and the silver looks like gunmetal

i've been thinking a lot about this set of wheels too vs the forgestar f14.

i'd go with 19x9.5 for that concave look

the colors are off because 5 axis decided to mix their own batch of unique paint for this line, so they all have a matte esque finish, the gunmetal comes off looking soft black because it has very little sheen, so the silver ones (which are matte silver) come closest to a true gunmetal color

I also like the gun metal better even if its almost matte black, gives an aggressive look

they are replicas. that one is replica of advan's rs or rz i think.

a lot of ppl don't like them because they are replica, and they are cast instead of forge, meaning the wheels are weaker and quality isnt as nice

but to be honest, if you just do normally daily driven, it shouldnt be too much of a problem. in the end, just go with what you like

^if the wheels are different bolt pattern then they are not gonna fit you will need to get adapters to make them fit

make sure its 5x114.3

then youll need hub centric rings to prevent wheel vibration

for example,
the rims i got are 5x120 which typically fits BMW, Benz, VW, Audi.

i had to get them redrilled and resleeved to fit the 5x114.3 pattern for Acura, Honda, Subaru, Lexus, Toyota.

the inner diameter of the acura hub is 64.1mm
the outer diameter of the aftermarket rim was like 72.6mm

so go to amazon.com. look for plastic hub centering rings.
for my set i went with 64mm ID x 73mm OD. i think i paid like $9-12 shipped for 4 rings

ID = inner diameter (this means center bore of the acura hub)
OD = outer diameter (this means whatever the center bore of your aftermarket rims)

this is my video explaining hub centering rings

For the headlights (orange piece)
So I am having trouble rather if I should just overlay that piece or if I should take it out. For the people who took it out, did you guys just replaced the bulb and left the orange plastic pieces out? If so, I was wondering what kind of bulb to buy that best matches our night time lights

our oem turn signal bulb is actually white. it appears orange only due to the reflector. so i changed mine to some chrome bulb. some people use led as well

the oem one is on the right? where did you buy your chrome bulb? I think LED's are off colored from the night time headlights.

Actually, OEM is on the left, chrome bulb on the right. OEM turn signal is actually white as I mentioned in the previous post. My chrome bulb is orange. But when off you can't see the orange Tint, instead you see chrome
