I recently jumped the Subaru ship and picked up a 2012 TSX Sport Wagon w/ tech package, and I'm loving every minute of driving it. I remember when these first came out and loved the way they looked, even if they did only come equipped with a four banger and an automatic. The 28mpg I've been getting makes up for it a little bit though.

Because I don't think I'll find another Subaru that will have the same reliability as my trusty 13 year old H6 Outback
I guess I didn't totally switch though, I still have the old Outback as I couldn't bring myself to part with it just yet.

When I bought mine about 4 years ago, they were EVERYWHERE here. These days I see 2-3 a week. I have put 92K miles on it. Has been great.
I saw the Milano Red wagon the other day. It wasn't offered when I bought mine . Back then you could only get ugly maroon.
If I had the Milano Red Wagon , it would be perfect.
Then again I had some rare wagons, from Lexus SportXross to 4wd Civic Wagons from 1986 and 1991 (both manuals), and Corolla Alltrac wagons. Only wagon I didn't buy that I regret was the 1996 Camry V6, 7 passenger wagon with the dual rear wipers! Those are rare and actually have power!
Then again, if Ihad the money back then, I would have a Canary Yellow Volvo T5R wagon.

I am not saying I see 2-3 a week FOR SALE. I see them ON THE ROAD.
Gotcha. Definitely much more than here. I'd guess I've seen a half dozen on the road here in Utah over the last several years. They're pretty unique so they always catch my eye.
"This is a nice, newer car. I have no desire to modify it in any way, because I'm satisfied with the way it looks. I'll be smart, and not spend money or time on improving the way it looks." I said to myself as I pulled out of the dealer's lot.

Thanks! I'm very happy with how it turned out.
This might sound crazy, but I used black painted aluminum roof flashing for the backplate. I was wandering around home depot looking for sheet aluminum when I found the flashing, and it was the perfect size, thickness, and it was already black. I traced the honda emblem from the Accord grille, cut it out, and boom, had the perfect backing for the acura emblem.

IMO people shouldn't need to be spoon-fed if they're going to try a DIY anyway.I agree with the above question, do you have any plans for future mods now that you've been bit by the bug? I know you mentioned you hadn't planned on anything... but you know how that goes lol
I think most of the info is there

I'll be swapping LEDs in the interior in the very near future. I'm also looking to get a beefier rear sway bar to tone down some of the understeer.
Wheels will definitely be happening, I like the Raijins and would love to get my hands on a set of RCT4s. Coilovers will be installed eventually too. My old wagon handles pretty nicely after a thicker rear sway bar and coilovers were installed, so it's very tempting to get those mods going asap on the tsx.

what size wheels ?
How wide of a tire patch ?
I'm thinking 18''. 19'' seems to leave too little tire to absorb the abuse from the absolutely shitty roads we have around here.
Haven't looked into offsets or widths that would look good though. The end goal is to get rid of the sunk oem look with something a little more flush

18 with some thick rubber looks best on wagons lowered from what I have a seen
lots of guys do 19 and 20 which don’t look good
and for many of us that actually use them as a wagon instead of going to stance meets
