CU2 in SCCA Pro Racing
Sorry, I'm bored at work. If anyone else wants to admire a TSX holding its own against a variety of other cars, lots of pics from this season here:

I posted this up in the racing section of the 1st gen, and they are at a huge disadvantage...the fact that they come in the top 5 regularly is insane...they are versing v8 camaros and mustangs and caymans too...and they hold there own! Its awesome to watch

I'm telling you, the suspension setup on these cars is great. People complain about steering feel, but the precision is there, along with the suspension geometry and chassis stiffness. It's more than just about straightaway speed, I'm pleasantly surprised at how these things can turn. It's no BMW, but it's pretty darn good for a nose-heavy FWD I4. And IMO mine being a wagon feels slightly more balanced because of the big booty, although it doesn't help that it's 3600 lbs.

The RDX's 2.5T would have been nice...

Gotta love the RTR TSX. My M3/4 was owned/modded by a guy who worked for RealTime Racing as a tire tester for Bridgestone, so I think it's kinda cool to now have a TSX since they race them. 300hp and 2800lbs(?) would make for an extremely fun TSX. I wonder how much it would cost to get a RTR carbon fiber splitter assuming they'd sell one.

Bump because Eibach just used the TSX pics in their post about the Pirelli World Challenge: Cadillac Sonoma Grand Prix.

Switched from I4 to V6 to be more competitive with the big burly v8s and the caymans...and they hold their own quite nicely

IIRC those "big burly V8s" are also restricted...

although they are restricted, they still slaughtered the competition the first year, and this year are running in the front of the pack, especially when you are competing with the likes of m3s and 370zs and caymans and such the switch was necessary....its a definite advantage. All the things i have read say its from the v6 TSX....but who knows....

And as someone else said above, they have been using J35 V6s since early 2012.
