SUE HONDA FOR STEALING YOUR IDEA!!

but seriously, that's a concept car, i highly doubt any of that chrome in the front will make it to the production car. look at the concept ilx vs the production ilx. chromed out concept --> barely any chrome production

Hmm, I like it but I dont love it. I would vinyl the outer grille to match the rest of the brushed.

Your vinyl skills are great but i dont feel right about this, might be too much contrast in the center front.

my suggestion: vinyl the silver trim around the stock grill, either flat black or CF, and it will look MUCH nicer

Hey speed... heres an idea

Get a hold of a stock TSX, measure and vinyl its rear lower bumper, and sell those pre-cut pieces online. Benben style lower diffuser. I would buy one, as im sure would many others

It's busy is what it is. If you look closely, there are too many shades/colors. The car is gray, the center of the grill is black, the grill trim is chrome, and the bumper has aluminium. If the grill and grill trim were matching, either CF, all black or color matched to the body, the bumper trim would look much better with everything else.

So the roof of this car is vinyl-ed silver too? EDIT: nvm, found your old thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-2009-2014-143/brushed-aluminum-roof-828395/

I agree.. it's the silver trim around the stock grill is what is throwing it off. nice eye KillerG.

Already have that pattern.

I'll get to the outer grill some day. Been way to busy lately and too burnt out to want to hang film on my own ride in my free time.

Rear bumper, my bad. I actually tried that piece first and its a titanic bitch. The way that part of the bumper falls away its like laying a piece of paper over an upside down soup bowl, way too much material bunches up. This film will stretch with heat, but not enough to make it set down without wrinkles. Maybe I'll give that another try with a different approach, but I doubt it would be something I'd feel comfortable just making patterns and offering them up for self install.
