Looks good ed! I am not complete sold on the rear aero bumper though.. Like the my stock bumper with the CF wrap of the diffuser area. And yes, that is lil "Stig" from top gear

BTW, who needs to study... Just look at your boy Billy and Steve'o. They did ok for being dropouts

I like the idea of just the front lip. When I had my Si, just the front lip was added. It was a nice touch without being too much, which seems to be the theme of your car Ben.
Of course now I'm looking to do a few mods as well, the only dilemma being how to split the mod money, Tacoma 30%, Acura 30%, Aprilia RSVR 30% (most likely more, track days are expensive) Triumph 10%. Damn you good sir for tormenting me like this!

LOL! I know what you mean my friend... That's why I only work on one project at a time to make things easy. The TSX is almost done in terms of mods. I would like to boost it at some point but will wait and see. If I pick up something new next year, the TSX is definitely done. I think I've achieved the right balance between appearance, fun to drive and keeping it economical & practical. Probably just minor tweaks here and there just to stay busy

My other thought was to swap out my 11' front bumper for a 09/10 aero bumper and grille along with the side skirts. Still keeping it clean with the factory fit and finish. The challenge is that I have to do a custom clear bra for the new bumper...

The rear aero bumper looks sportier IMHO, especially in person. The front aero bumper from the '09/'10 looks more aggressive, and I like that it's one piece vs. the two little attachments from the current MY.

My '09 had the rear and front aero bumpers, but no side skirts. The general consensus was that it looked OK without them. Now that I have the full kit on the '11, I cringe when I look at photos of my '09. Something to think about if considering the "2/3rds" route.

Another option is the Mugen 1-piece front bumper. If I had money to spare, that's the option I would go for.

BTW, I figured out who Steve-o was, but who's Billy? Oh, nevermind, Billy Gates.

rofl now it makes more sense. i failed at comprehension once again. maybe i should drop out LOl

to be honest, i like the mugen front end, but it seems very sporty...almost TOO sporty. i feel like to pull of such look you need some major motor work. part of the reason why i like the mugen front end is because it makes the grille opening MUCH smaller.

Thanks for the input. I think I need to take a closer look at the rear aero bumper. Part of my reluctance or leaving the rear bumper alone are the mods I made to it to make my 275s fit.

No aero kit yet.. However, I am thinking a combination of the OEM front lips for my 11' model, side skirts, and 09/10 rear aero bumper.

On a side note. Got my Progress RSB installed. Took less than an hour to install without having to removed the wheels. Since I am running 275s in the rear, the upgraded RSB does make a noticeable difference. The rear feels more planted and less prone to bottoming out without excessive harshness. High speed cornering is improved with less body lean. Oh, the added bonus was getting this from Ebay for $75 shipped

nice! did you have to drill to make it fit?

awesome man, might have to add that to the mod list if it helps with the wider wheels in the back

RSB is an added benefit regardless of how big my rear wheel/tire combo is. I didn't have to drill as I simply reused the OE mounts with the Progress bushings

Yeah I like the aero front, but not so much the ass. If I ever had to replace this is what I would do.

$75 shipped is super cheap! Did you use the softer or stiffer setting for the RSB? I didnt know you could install it with the wheels on. Was it lifted up or on the ground?

The RSB I got was a prototype with just 1 setting (1-hole) and the last of the handfuls the ebay seller had... Sorry, no love for the rest of the TSX crew... Compared to the current RSB offering from Progress, my RSB would be set to the equivalent of the first hole which is the stiffer setting I think.

As for the installation, I use 2 floor jacks, one on each side and lifted the wheels off the ground with enough room to get under the car to work comfortably. There was enough room to wiggle the old bar out and get the new one into place without having to take the wheels off. The bushings from the Progress bar fits nicely into the OE mounts so no need to drill the chassis mounting holes. I did this this install during my lunch break at home and didn't have to time to take pics or do a DYI video. The only major tip I can pass on is to remove the rubber hangers on the mufflers near the bumper to give you some play on the exhaust. You don't really need to pull on the exhaust much to fit the new bar in to place. Hope that helps anyone who plans to install a RSB in the near future.

Thanks! The diffuser wrap took about 4 hours including surface prep, fine masking with vinyl tape, removal of the reflectors and exhaust surrounds/trim. Actual wrap time was about an hour or so...

It's 35% up front and 20% all the way back. With a black leather interior, it's looks pretty dark.

Ok.. I gotta lay off ebay. Just made an offer on a set of Apexi WS axel back mufflers for a CL7. He accepted and they are mine. Will be getting them installed at my local muffler shop with some minor modifications.. So no CT-E exhaust for me..

The mufflers were shipped today and hopefully be here by Friday so I can get'em installed over the weekend. Also picked up a new tool to replace the front ball joints with a s set of SPC adjustable ones so I can dial in some negative camber.

I am not sure about the pipe diameter. Chances are I will have to do some cutting and welding to make'em fit. Hopefully it will sound good and not drone. Tobwac... The answer you seek is in my sig
