I just got my TSX tinted. 20s all around and I don't know how everyone else feels about it but i think it completes the look of and made it even sexier than it is.

What kinda tints did everyone else do?

Got 15% all around (except windshield) on my Grigio.

 

I'm planning to do the same to mine. Great to see how it looks before I get it done.

Looks nice! I thought about 20% all around but went with 35% 3M all around. I've driven by and next to cops and have not been pulled over yet *knocks on wood*.

 

man those tint pictures look great on CBP and PWP. Definitely gonna tint my windows soon lol

 

A good trick too do when driving with 20% tint if you see cops open your sunroof...it allows light to enter the vehicle and giving the appearance of a lighter tint on your windows

 

I hate how poeple say "tints".

I have 35% all around. Decided to keep it 100% legal.

 

yeah well, to get to 35% tint you actually have to get 50% tint because the factory window is tinted 75% its self, so that'd bring it down to 35%.. so when you get 35% tint on it you're actually out of tollerance with the legal limit :-P but its easy to play dumb by sayin g" o well i got the 35% tint! " lol and I drive around with my moonroof open or tilted 90% of the time, keeps the inside of the car lit pretty well, even with the moonroof cover just pulled open lets in a lot of light.. those pictures the moon roof is actually open, i could take some with them closed if you guys want, see the difference

 

I myself opted for 35% tint this go around. I've had 20% before on my '95 and '03 Maximas, but I like having just enough tint to show some class, without having all the hassles of dealing with cops and what not.

While I do think darker tints have a tendency to make a car look "cheaper", the 20% looks pretty good on the TSX.

 

i think the 18 in the back kinda makes it look like privacy glass, and i really just tinted the front lol almost looks liek factory tint in the back to me.. besides the brake light.. which apparently you can get covered? I didn't know never tinted a car before this one.. I think mines coming out pretty executive looking though, and not so much ricer / jdm wanna be typeage.. with all the blacking out the chrome and really taking away form teh glorified honda look of an acura. Bought an acura to have an acura not to slap honda emblems on it :-P

 

i def think 35 is the way to go...no sense in getting yanked just for effing tint

 

if could get away with it i'd do 5% all around.

 

The legal limit here in Australia is 30% although due to the amount of imported cars arriving with darker tint on the rear windows the cops tend to ignore it for the most part.
I had 20% on my 300C and never had a problem with the cops despite plenty of traffic light side by's.

 

california tint laws are the worst.

actually california laws just suck in general. but lets not get into that.
