Zero to 60 times?
Zero to 60 times?
Wondering of anyone has any zero to 60 times they would like to share. I have the PocketDyno app that uses the phones accelerometer to measure things like acceleration, g force, WHP, and reaction time. Not sure how accurate these things are but its fun to play with.

If I can find an app for android I'll test it out this weekend on my adventure to Austin. I've taken a few videos of me going 0-60 but looking at a video time isnt very accurate.

I was just bitching in the other thread about this the other day. I took a video so I could really focus on the needle and time it. I got 7.8 give or take 2 tenths. And I got some wheel spin but it didn't cut power so I'm thinking it's just about right. That is in an automatic as well. So I guess I'm a whole second faster than all the stockies besides the 6MTs. I think I'm right on par with those.
Just looked at my 0-60 times from the videos I took last weekend on my way to houston. Trimming the video, my time comes out to about 6.5s give or take .25s. I didnt use the paddle shifters or anything, I just mashed the pedal in D. There was a lot of tire spin.
I tried to ease a bit instead of mashing it in the take off. After the third time I started to get a little better. I will also be getting new tires soon (summer tires) so I will get to see the difference they make.
I gave it a try today. My 0-60 was 7.3sec with me, my main lady, and random stuff in trunk (10qts oil, tools, etc). It was also slightly uphill.
HOWEVER...the estimate was 475whp (I estimated car weight 4000lbs) and it said the maximum speed was 110.61mph, but I only reached 65mph before I let off the gas.

This thing is surprisingly accurate. I took my car up to 50 and it read my speed as 53 which is about right cause my wheels are bigger. I wasn't really trying and changed my gears at 6500 and not red lining like i should have but by 0-50 was 6.9. I assume that's pretty accurate lol

(like me as i don't feel like my tsx's doing anywhere near 8.x secs.....)
I plan to try it again.
